Domaine Grandmont
3DD32
The estate « Château de Grandmont » belongs to Jean BRAC de la PERRIERE, one of the descendants of a family who have been cultivating and vinifying wines in the BEAUJOLAIS region since 1603. The nine hectares “Château de Grandmont” is situated in the commune of BLACE, which is renowned for its concentrated and complex BEAUJOLAIS-VILLAGES. The average age of the wines is 45 year’s old which results in a wine of great depth. The red wine combines a bouquet of red currants with a hit of spice coupled with a beautifully fresh fruitiness and lingering finish. The “Rosé” is wonderfully fresh and fragrant with floral and citrus fruit aromas. The total annual production is about 450HL. The traditional Beaujolais vinification practised on place by the owners on the estate.
